VERY TOUCHING. I WISH TO FIND A MAN LIKE THAT :)
“I live for her, she lives for me”.
You see this couple here?
Watching them them has brought me to tears.
Why, you ask? Because, their story is an extraordinary one. This is a story of a man who is still deeply in love with his wife, who just so happens to suffer from Alzheimer’s disease. He loves her like no other. He feeds her, talks to her, walks her around, and definitely cares for her. He even dances with her; leading her each step, holding her close… the look in his eyes when he talks to her, is nothing short of beautiful. He loves her to the point where he sees past the fact that she can no longer remember him. He stands by her side, caring for her day by day no matter what the circumstances are.
This is the kind of love that pulls my heart strings. I don’t care for “normalcy”. I don’t care for perfect. To have someone you love forget you, and for you to still be able to care for them and pull through… it baffles me. It’s such a beautiful, rare, kind of love. The perseverance, the will, it’s all just amazing. His love is inspiring. Endearing.
“I’m not concerned about anyone else, I’m just concerned about her”.
This is the kind of love I want. I just want someone who I know will be there for me. Who I know will pull through when times get tough. I want someone to look at me like that. Talk to me like that. Hold me like that. Someone who will always be there.
“I can’t be without her for too long, to be honest with you. Love floats around, doesn’t it? I don’t think it will ever go away”.
Here’s the video. Very touching:
