Easter Sunday.

while waiting for the mates to come to my house.

Went to church earlier today. The 2 mates and I were supposed to go to a church near our house but then so many things happened and we ended up going to a church which is quite far and need to take the train to go there. We started the journey at 915 am, and on our way to find a taxi, my shoe's soles suddenly detached from the shoe. We went to 7E to find a slipper - but they didn't sell slipper there and bought a glue instead and tried to stick them together - which didn't work. My friend told me to just take the other shoe sole off cause they seem fine without it. I took it off, and guess what - it only make things worst, and my toes were so happy to be freed from the shoes. I was so upset, I just want to go back home.

The mates was not giving up and said that it was only a test from God to know if we were really sincere to go for the Easter mass. She took my hand and brought me to the other side of the road to check up whether the 7E shop there sell slipper or not. I feel so ashamed to walk with the spoiled shoes - which shows my toes. But thank God, we found a slipper which costs me RM7 and they fit me perfectly. After buying it, we went to wait for taxi and it was already 9.35 - which means the mass at the church near our house has already started.

We waited for taxi until it was 10am, and I told my friend that the gospel reading might have finished by this time. We discussed and finally decided to go to the church in Pudu which starts at 12 noon. just after we leave the bus stop, a taxi arrived. And we were so disappointed that we gave up waiting. 

we went to take our breakfast at the nearest Chinese restaurant, and after that took a taxi to go to the train station.

 When we were buying tokens from the machine, after queuing up some time, the machine suddenly only accepts coins and no notes. We tried to buy two times but still the machine only accepts coins. Just after we leave our queue, we saw the machine was okay again when the lady behind us was buying tokens - but we can't cut the queue and went to queue at other machine. 

Luckily the machine didn't messed up this time. 

I was so afraid if some other things might come out wrong. But then we safely arrived at the church 10 minutes before the mass started. 

I was so happy although things weren't the way I expect them to be today. I attended the mass with a joyful heart, and I'm so glad that I didn't gave up going to church just because of my shoes. We reached home safely and with a thankful heart and am full of God's grace.

Things aren't the way we want them to be, but God has planned the best for us. All we have to do is believe in him and keep our faith strong. In little things, we see God's love and today, I see God's love from my friend. I'm so glad that she insisted me to go instead of giving up - through and because of her, I am simply happy to be able to attend the mass today.
