I've been thinking a lot about it lately. I found myself a green pamphlets about organ donation in the hospital last year, and since then I have had this desire to register myself as a donor. Well, I heard a lil bit of this and that about donating the organs from some people, most of them said they're afraid to donate but to me, I think it's a great thing to do. of course it's actually up to the individual about how they may think and accept the idea of it, but hey, why not help others to have a better life ? right ?
Here's a website I found when I was collecting some information about *ORGAN DONATION*. They provide you of the who, how, what and when of donating organs.
and here is the *Malaysian Society of Transplantation*. You can register yourself as a donor here :)
But remember, ask your love ones for their permission first ! You don't want them to worry about you.
So, if I am allowed to donate, surely I will register myself :) gotta ask the family later !
